Best Computer: Software Online Newsletter Campaign

In the beginning of 2013, Snowbound Software launched The SnowHUB, a new quarterly company newsletter featuring a variety of unique media content. One such feature is an in-depth eBook included in each edition. The eBook discusses relevant document viewing trends, such as “Best Case Scenario: Document Viewers enhance Case Management”—the topic of the most recent eBook. The product spotlight is another important aspect of the newsletter. Recently, the spotlight featured a video showcasing Snowbound’s premiere flagship product: VirtualViewer HTML5. In addition, each newsletter features a blog post from Snowbound president & CEO, Simon Weiczner, providing Simon’s insight into current document viewing and content management news and trends. Of course, no SnowHUB edition would be complete without The Misadventures of Lenny & Poe, a quirky comic strip that follows the misadventures of a polar bear named Lenny and a penguin named Poe. The comic strip is created in-house at Snowbound and satirizes everyday issues facing document viewing and conversion professionals.

Since introducing the new newsletter, Snowbound has seen its opt-in rate increase by 82 percent. Likewise, engagement has skyrocketed over the past year, with Snowbound seeing a 222 percent increase in newsletter clicks and downloads. Each SnowHUB newsletter is now distributed to over 20,000 individuals.
