Métiers à Bord (On Board Careers) is a total-immersion experience available at etremarin.fr, the French Navy’s recruitment website.
The goal is to shed light on the rich, though little-known world of the French Navy, and encourage young people in the 15-24 age group to learn more about life on a ship and the variety of careers the Navy has to offer.
To that end, the site includes three virtual tours of iconic French ships, complete with interactive panoramic photos. Visitors can also explore the different aspects of sailors’ lives thanks to video content, testimonials and fact sheets.
This 360° HTML5 experience is available on all devices, and the mobile version (for tablets and smartphones) even includes a gyroscope function.
