Best Family Interactive Application

Aristotle teamed with Stone Mountain Park in Atlanta, Georgia—part of Herschend Family Entertainment—to create a website for its new winter attraction, Snow Mountain Park. Snow in Atlanta is not something you see every day, and the same needed to be said about the new website. Specifically, Aristotle needed to create a viral aspect of the site that would really help raise awareness of this unique attraction. To help spread the word to families and couples in the South who would otherwise have to travel hundreds and/or thousands of miles to spend a day on the slopes, Aristotle created a virtual “Spread the Snow” campaign. This interactive element features a Flash-animated snowman sledding through the park’s snowy hills complete with music and falling snow. After a fun-filled time of riding along with the snowman, visitors can send the animated video along to friends and family encouraging them to “Take a Snow Day.” Visitors can even customize the Spread the Snow Card, leaving a special greeting for the recipient at the end of the animation.
