SHERLOCK HOLMES WEBSITE
Having created the global website for the first instalment of Sherlock Holmes in 2009 we were thrilled to be given the opportunity to create the official international website for the theatrical release of Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.
The digital landscape has evolved in the two years since the first film. This new website was built as an Ajax application to provide the smoothest user experience with animated transitions between sections. To maximise browser compatibility all of the website components, including the video and audio players, were built in Flash with fall-back support to HTML5. This allowed us to provide a virtually identical experience for desktop and iPad users without having to eliminate the rich visual experience which is has come to be expected from traditional Flash websites. The end result seamlessly integrated the characters, themes and artwork to become an integral component of digital marketing campaign.
