The Kaplan YouTube Channel sought to create an innovative social outlet to help strengthen Kaplan Universityís brand for current students and monitor the feedback on the school, as well as to raise brand awareness for those unfamiliar with the University so as to attract new leads. By creating an easily navigable common space on YouTube, Kaplan University wanted to bring a wide variety of networks together, including students, visitors, alumni and possible prospects. Kaplan Universityís strategy for reaching its current students and target audience for new leads was to create this YouTube channel and be able to feature major portions of the actual website in a compelling, informal, interactive and fun way, while providing a welcoming community for current students and a means for attracting new students. The site can directly link you to the Kaplan University main website, give you information on finding the right degree for each individual and lays out a virtual map of the Kaplan University locations located globally. You are able to tune into current videos of Kaplan University staff and faculty in all different departments offered for a degree. It is the most interactive way to communicate to Kaplan Universityís desired audience about what products and services they have available.
