17+ million views on YouTube. The most watched Corporate brand video - ever. Our assignment was to create a video that would help inform customers, partners, investors, and potential ambassadors of the brand, that Corning are not a staid 160 year old company but instead, a technology thought leader, a progressive innovator and undisputed leader in their respective field. The result was a video called “A Day Made of Glass”. Following it’s debut at the Corning Investor Relations event in February 2011, it was published online giving a wider audience a glimpse into the near future. In a remarkably short period of time, this visionary video captured the imaginations of millions, while demonstrating how highly engineered glass, with companion technologies, will help shape our world. Today, a year later, “A Day made of Glass” has earned more than 17 million views on YouTube, the highest viewership attained for any corporate brand video. The video has been remarked upon by many in the mainstream press as well as launching countless conversations across the social web generating high marks in positive sentiment and brand advocacy.
