Pizza Pizza, the leading national pizza chain with more than 700 store locations, partnered with Plastic Mobile to design and build a first-of-its-kind pizza ordering app. The innovative mobile application has brought contactless mobile payment to customers and revolutionized the entire pizza ordering process. The goal was to create a new ordering channel for pizza-lovers to order pizza in a simple, convenient and intuitive manner that would equate to happy and loyal customers, as well as a lift in sales. Since launch, the “Spin-to-Win” game in the Pizza Pizza iPad Ordering App, which gives customers a chance to win a complimentary side for their next order, encouraged an astounding 23% repeat usage monthly - up 15% compared to online ordering. The tasty-looking app also leverages the added screen real estate of the iPad with an interactive custom-pizza builder. The highly visual tool lets hungry customers see dynamic representations of their customized pizza creations, making the pizza-ordering process more interactive and seamless than ever, on the perfect device for ordering in.
