The Business Objective: To produce a Rich Media training video that incorporates concepts and materials from Dr. Amy D’Aprix’s live Retirement Income Planning Process seminars. The Retirement Income Planning Process guides advisors through the soft skills of interacting with their target clients to enhance their understanding of client and prospect needs. The key objectives of this project were: 1. To create a series of chaptered training videos to describe and educate advisors on the concepts and skills of the Retirement Income Planning Process. 2. To showcase the benefits of using rich media to enhance the successful delivery of on-line training. The Solution: BlueRush used transcripts from a live seminar along with related resource material to create a new and visually engaging training program that incorporates over 40 minutes of chaptered interactive video. This video is now accessible to anyone within the company who needs to learn the essential soft skills that are relevant to aging clients. Unlike conventional e-learning that is text-heavy or made up of rudimentary video, this rich media video production integrates Dr. D’Aprix’s on-camera appearances with a variety of virtual locations, as well as sophisticated visuals consisting of lifestyle imagery, graphs, and animations. This helps to create an engaging participant experience that is further supported by fully interactive rich media Q & A segments.
