The user-friendly booking engine creates a fully interactive shopping experience by simultaneously displaying room rates and available rooms, along with rich photography and descriptions that memorably reflect the Hotel BLOOM! promise: “a stay away from the ordinary.” Shoppers can quickly click through date, room type, and enhancement options to see prices and room features with the convenience of never leaving the reservation screen. To further its brand presence in social media, Hotel BLOOM! added a convenient “stay with us” tab to its Facebook page. The tab includes an integrated booking mask that links directly to the iStay booking engine and its single, interactive screen. Guests can seamlessly click on a drop-down menu, select check-in date and number of nights, and enter contact and payment information to complete the transaction. Statistics tell the story of the effectiveness of Hotel BLOOM!’s booking strategy using iStay. In 2010, the hotel realized a 71 percent increase in reservations, a 69 percent increase in room nights, and a 60 percent increase in revenue.
