There’s nothing like a home-cooked meal, especially around the holidays, but all too often we find we spend more time prepping and cooking than in enjoying the food and the company of our loved ones. Meet the Ninja® Foodi® Deluxe Pressure Cooker. The deluxe pressure cooker that crisps. With the 2020 holiday season approaching, Ninja was looking for a way to grow awareness and consideration of the Foodi among audiences who love to entertain but aren’t sure they have the time. Working with UM and engagement advertising company true[X], Ninja built an interactive ad that demonstrated the power of the Foodi while allowing users to click through a carousel that would introduce them to some of the device’s many cutting-edge features. The ad appeared alongside premium, full-episode video content, where consumers could opt to lower their commercial load by spending 30 seconds interacting with it -- and if they were interested, they could click through to purchase a Foodi of their very own. According to true[X] internal research, users spent an average of 47 seconds with the ad, considerably more than the 30-second minimum, and it led to statistically significant brand lift for the Ninja Foodi. Brand awareness increased by 24 points -- nearly 3x the retail category’s average performance -- and familiarity increased by 14 points. Now that’s a recipe for success.
