Best Healthcare Provider Interactive Application

The Business Objective: Significant renovations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre (JCC) promised major improvements that would impact both its staff and patients. In order to support the launch of the new JCC, and help ensure a positive user experience through an important transition period, BlueRush was asked to create 2 interactive applications. The first was designed to provide a preview of the new building and excite staff as they counted down the final 100 days until the building’s opening. The second was an interactive map/floorplan that serves to help staff and patients navigate the new centre. The Solution: The “Countdown” application provided a “Days to go” calendar along with monthly photo albums that documented the final stages of construction and a peek at some of the new facilities. The interactive map covered each area of the new building with a written overview, photos, and a proximity map which was printable.
